Lochiel Estate 2012 Merlot Malbec
The nose is full of Plum and dark fruits and the rich plumy flavour of the Malbec comes at the front of the palate followed by the berry flavours in the back palate.
The two components were fermented and aged in French Oak for 18 months prior to blending. There is substantial tannin and acid to enable this wine to age well but it is drinking well now.
